DIY Mug!

Ive seen this all over the internet (drawing on a mug with a sharpie) and I needed a cheap, quick Christmas present for my gran so I thought I'd make one!

What you'll need
•a plain white mug
•sharpies
•ribbon
•scissors
•food :p (optional)

1. Draw your design with the sharpie
I just wrote gran with a love heart, and a candy cane on the handle.
And this is the back

2. Put it in oven for 30 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF)
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but be very careful when getting it out the oven. Once it's out leave it to cool.

3.Decorate it!
You can leave it without decorating it but I thought it looked better. I bought these ribbon from Asda for £2.
For me, I cut the snowflake ribbon and tied it around the top of the mug.

at last minute I decieded to use the card that the ribbon came on to write a little note.

Then I just put that inside the cup.

4. Add food!
My gran likes roses (the chocolates) so I just put a few of them inside the cup!

Taadaa! Simple!

As you can tell it's simple and looks really nice! This is definitely the cheapest present I've got anyone this Christmas and by far my favourite!

Thanks for reading!
