Be Happy

I haven't done a blog in literally months. So I thought I'd do a 'happy' one.
I don't see the point in being sad or angry, well, for a long period of time anyway. Nothing is impossible, if you think the right way, you can be happy.

Count your blessings
In my opinion, everyone has a blessing. If you don't think you do, you're wrong. Look at yourself, do you have beautiful eyes, are your teeth perfect, is your hair long, or something else you like. If you don't think you do then your not looking hard enough. When you find it, be happy about it. For me, I wish I had perfect teeth, I hate mine. You have things people would love. It doesn't have to be your looks, you could have a talent which others would want. Even if its the fact that you have food, water and shelter, and someone who loves you. There are people in the world who would love at least one thing you have, and if your not grateful for it, it is a waste. You have to accept that you cant have everything.

Love the little things
Everyone wants an expensive car, or the latest phone or a luxury holiday. But there are little things in life that mean just as much. For example:

  • Cookies
  • Movie Days
  • Friends
  • Long Walks
  • Bubble Baths
All of these things cost nothing, or very little, and can have a huge impact on life. They relax you, and relaxing decreases stress, and we all know how bad stress is.

Be yourself
Now this is easier said than done. Why copy other people, after all, that person already exists in the world, they aren't looking for another. You were made to be unique. It really annoys me to see people following others like sheep. People should love you for who YOU are not for who you make yourself out to be. If someone doesn't like you for you then you don't deserve them. You're just lying to yourself and the people around you. It becomes hard to know whether someone actually likes something or whether they actually like it.

Being happy is the best feeling, try your hardest to be it.

Lush Haul!

Hello everyone so today I thought I'd do a Lush haul. I had a bath bomb from Lush once, and I came out in a rash, and this was about 2 years ago. Since then, I had never step foot in a Lush shop again until a few weeks ago, and I bought two things, I used them both and have been absolutely fine, so since then, I got a bit exited with the thought of being able to use them again and I now have 6 bath bombs, a lip scrub and shower gel. For some this might sound like a lot but for some it might not sound like hardly any, but, since I hadn't wrote a blog in a while, I thought I'd do a haul on some of the bath bombs I bought.

This is what everything looks like in the bag (I just keep them
all in a bag in my room)

1. Star Light Star Bright Bath Melt
This is such a cute bath melt, but when you pick it up, so much sparkle comes off onto your fingers which is kind of annoying, apart from that, it looks so nice! The smell is quite hard to describe, but it smells quite like lemons and citrus.
 2. Shoot For The Stars Bath Ballistic
When I seen this, I really wanted it, and got it with no hesitation whatsoever. It just has pink and yellow shooting stars on it. I am honestly the worst person at describing smells, but its quite powdery, when I smell it, it makes me want to sneeze. It does smell sweet, like sherbet or liquorice.

 3. Magic Wand Bubble Bar
I know these are so popular, but since they were so popular, I wanted to try. It just looked so fascinating, waving the wand about in the bath and it making bubbles. Now this, is probably the sweetest smelling bath product I own! It just smells like a sweet shop.
4. The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar
This one, I have two of, because my friend got it for me for Christmas, and my mum did too. It turns your bath a slightly light blue colour. Now this just smells like a typical bath product. I'm so bad at describing!
5. Bombardino Bath Ballistic
I have to admit, I bought this because it reminded me of mickey mouse. I don't know why, it just did, but it looks really cool and I think it smells like caramel, even though it says on the website it says coca butter and lemon oil, but I know that I'm rubbish with describing.

And that's it! I'm not going to go into great detail on them all, as I have only used one before, and I'm sorry most of this was me badly describing the smells, but Lush has a sale on now so hopefully this gave you inspiration to buy one :)

DIY Mug!

Ive seen this all over the internet (drawing on a mug with a sharpie) and I needed a cheap, quick Christmas present for my gran so I thought I'd make one!

What you'll need
•a plain white mug
•sharpies
•ribbon
•scissors
•food :p (optional)

1. Draw your design with the sharpie
I just wrote gran with a love heart, and a candy cane on the handle.
And this is the back

2. Put it in oven for 30 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF)
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but be very careful when getting it out the oven. Once it's out leave it to cool.

3.Decorate it!
You can leave it without decorating it but I thought it looked better. I bought these ribbon from Asda for £2.
For me, I cut the snowflake ribbon and tied it around the top of the mug.

at last minute I decieded to use the card that the ribbon came on to write a little note.

Then I just put that inside the cup.

4. Add food!
My gran likes roses (the chocolates) so I just put a few of them inside the cup!

Taadaa! Simple!

As you can tell it's simple and looks really nice! This is definitely the cheapest present I've got anyone this Christmas and by far my favourite!

Thanks for reading!
